WPI promise 100 homes for 100 women
Lucy Simms, Chief Commercial Officer from WOMEN’S PROPERTY INITIATIVES was delighted to receive a MAJOR GRANT of $100,000 per year up to 5 years. Following the Parliament House presentations our Geelong members enjoyed a fellowship lunch at a nearby hotel.

Be Bold Be Heard $20,000 richer
One of the nine community grants for $20,000 was presented to Brad Headlam from the Be Bold Be Heard program for Senior Secondary girls at our local Geelong schools. This program was initiated at North Geelong Secondary College and has grown to include girls from 15 schools in our area.

SIVF launches in Melbourne 26th November
The Soroptimist International Victoria Foundation was launched at Queen’s Hall, Parliament House, Melbourne on November 26th. This Foundation has been formed with the funds from the sale of Soroptimist House, Toorak and Annual Grants will be awarded to worthy recipients for many years to come. Anthea Penny, the SISEAP President Elect 2024-2026 congratulated the Victorian Soroptimists on the successful launch of the Foundation
